The NBA regular season is getting into swing with an 11-game slate on Wednesday night, featuring the Grizzlies vs. Jazz in Memphis.
The Grizzlies looked promising in their preseason campaign, going 3-1 with wins over the Hornets , Bulls and Hawks . Memphis is coming off of a rough 25-57 season, which led the franchise to receiving the 2026 Draft's No. 3 Overall pick Cameron Boozer. The Grizzlies seem to be on the right track to rebuild.
The Jazz enter this opener in similar position, having just wrapped a 22-60 season and adding No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson to the roster. After several years intentionally tanking for draft capital, Utah looks like it might be a competitive squad this year. Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. should help form a strong offense around Peterson.
